Questions About Therapy

We do not accept insurance. We are out of network providers and we will work with you to see if you have out of network coverage.
Yes! We do. Payment via credit card is also acceptable.
During your consultation, you and your therapist will talk about the fee and what feels comfortable for you. We have set rates, but we also understand that everyone’s situation is different. Together, we’ll find an arrangement that makes ongoing therapy possible.
We have a limited amount of sliding scale openings per clinician.
We don’t shy away from uncomfortable feelings and will never label them as ‘bad’ or ‘intrusive’ or ‘negative’. Sometimes it’s important to feel angry or depressed in the same way that it is important to feel jubilant and energetic. We work with unconscious material, as it comes up, to better help you strengthen a relationship with your full self. Also check out our “How We Help” page for further information.
Scheduling a consultation is the best way to find out. We work to match you with a therapist who specializes in your needs and the consultation is the best way to see if there is chemistry between the two of you. The therapeutic relationship is like any relationship and a very important one. We take that to heart. Click here to schedule a consultation.
If your insurance has “PPO” on it, you have out of network benefits. You can call to inquire about your out of network deductible and co-insurance, look at your patient portal for your insurance, or give us a call and we’ll help you do this.
The deductible is the amount you will have to pay before your out of network benefits begin. This can range from $250 to as high as $10,000. The Co-insurance is the percentage you will owe after reimbursement from the insurance. Since we do not accept payment from the insurance company, that will inform how much the insurance will send you a check for reimbursement after each session, after the claim has been processed.
Yes! We even submit the claim on a weekly basis for you, to help ensure you are being reimbursed steadily.
